Fabric Collage on Birch Panel

My work is rooted in memory, material, and transformation. Using fabric—some inherited, some gathered—I create textile-based mixed media compositions on cradled birch panels, incorporating hand-applied beadwork and crystals. What began as a quiet exploration of my mother’s fabric has become a deeply personal process of connection and healing.

Each piece is built through intuitive layering—cutting, placing, and reworking cloth until a sense of balance and resonance emerges. The addition of beads and crystals introduces light and dimension, allowing the work to shift subtly with its environment. Softness meets structure; fragility meets strength.

These works are both tactile and contemplative—an offering of stillness, a reflection of continuity, and a reminder that even the smallest fragments can be reimagined into something whole.
