More about Robyn

Welcome to My Colorful World

Robyn Moore was raised in an artistic family where creativity was not only encouraged, but deeply lived. While much of her early life was devoted to raising a family and running a business, an unexpected shift in her health led her back to art. What began as exploration soon became something essential—an anchor, a healing process, and ultimately, her life’s work.

At the heart of Robyn’s work is a deeply personal connection to her mother, an accomplished textile artist. After losing her, Robyn found herself searching for a way to feel close again. She began working with a small collection of fabric she had kept from her mother’s extensive stash—materials once handled, chosen, and loved. What started as a quiet, intuitive act of remembrance evolved into a defining element of her artistic voice.

Today, Robyn creates mixed media works that weave together paint, fabric, and hand-applied details into richly layered compositions. Each piece carries both material and memory—transforming fragments of the past into something entirely new. Through cutting, layering, and reworking textiles alongside acrylics, inks, and reclaimed elements such as glass, her process becomes one of connection, continuity, and renewal.

Hand-applied beadwork and crystals introduce light and movement, allowing each piece to shift subtly within its environment. Softness meets structure; fragility meets strength. Her work speaks to the beauty of transformation—the way something once familiar can be reimagined and given new life.

Robyn draws inspiration from the quiet textures of the world around her—the weathered grain of old wood, the strength of gnarled trees, the softness of the ocean, the stories held within aged surfaces. These influences emerge through layered color, tactile depth, and organic composition. Texture and color are her language—inviting both visual and emotional connection.

Unbound by traditional rules or mediums, Robyn allows each piece to unfold intuitively. There are no predetermined outcomes—only a willingness to respond, to adapt, and to trust the process. Her abstract compositions offer viewers a sense of familiarity within complexity, creating space for reflection and personal meaning.

For Robyn, art is both expression and renewal. Each piece is a reflection of resilience, transformation, and love—an act of honoring what was while embracing what is.

“The challenge to create keeps me moving, keeps me alive. Each piece is a mirror to my soul. A blank canvas humbles me like nothing else. When you look at my work, you’re not only seeing me—you’re seeing a reflection of your own emotions.”

Inspired by memory, warmth, and the beauty of imperfection, Robyn creates with the intention of bringing depth, connection, and quiet energy into the spaces her work inhabits. Her hope is that each piece evokes love, mystery, hope, and stillness—an invitation to pause and feel.

Her work is not complete until it finds its home—with you.

Enjoy.
