Worn Treasure is an original botanical mixed media artwork created with acrylic paint, fabric, jewels, texture medium, hand-dyed cheesecloth, and gold foil on ½" gallery wrapped canvas. Part of the Floral and Botanical Collection, this richly textured piece weaves together luminous color, intricate detail, and tactile depth — a single bloom grown around a lifetime of small, kept things.

A single dramatic bloom rises upward in layered petals of deep teal, burnt orange, plum, and cream, each petal built from patterned fabric and hand-dyed cheesecloth layered beneath acrylic paint and traced in gold foil. Threaded through its center, a beaded chain runs the full length of the stem, joined along the way by an antique-style brooch, a dangling stone earring, small charms, and a pair of tiny bee pendants, as if the bloom simply grew up and around them. The teal ground is stenciled with a gilded floral wallpaper pattern in the corners, framing the central form.
